Physically we are back in Sacramento, although my body is not quite sure what to do with itself. Jet lag is a weird thing. It just sneaks up on you. On our way home from the airport I actually had to exit to take a 10 minute power nap. And by power nap I mean passing out as soon as my chair was reclined.
The trip was beautiful. I never thought I would say this but- when you've seen one medieval town, you've seen them all. And yes, there is too much of a good thing - Renaissance art. Everything starts to look the same after awhile. You will get to witness this first hand once we post pictures.
