Lisa and Lam

It's not that both of us going home for Christmas would leave us strapped for cash. We both want to go home and visit family. But, the financially responsible thing to do would be for only one of us to go home. This is the "smart" thing.

And I know what you are thinking - then why did you get a dog? Why now? Couldn't it wait? Listen, there will never be a good time to get a dog. There will always be something preventing us. Just like there will never be a good time to have a baby.

I am torn between being responsible and giving in to my guilt and emotions. This is the story of my life.
