Lisa and Lam

so i actually have a good reason for being late to work today. ok, the first hour i spent watching "law & order". and another half was spent buying coffee. but i swear, i had a good reason for the additional half hour.

as i was coming down from my apartment, i saw a cat on the lawn. like i usually do when i see an animal, i called out to it. but as it approached me, i realized it was a dog. a tiny, tiny black dog. i looked around. not a person in sight. a case of little dog lost? she shied away when i tried to pick her up. however, after a little coaxing she was in my arms. she had a tag with a phone number on it. i called the owner, who said she had spent the morning looking for her dog, but had to leave for an interview. a half an hour later, little "fatima" was reunited with her momma.
